Education

One of Waterloo’s many assets is the educational system and our strong sense of community.  Upon graduation from post secondary institutions, many students return to permanent residency in Waterloo and the surrounding community.

School Systems

Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School provides private education to students from grades Pre-K through 8.

Waterloo Community Unit District #5 provides public education to students from grades K through 12.

Gibault Catholic High School provides private education to students from grades 9 through 12.

    moving onto a four-year program and 15-20% moving onto a two-year or vocational program upon graduation.

Waterloo High School provides education to students from grades 9 through 12 in their new building which was built in 2010.
